Trip

Yesterday my dad and I took a road trip to San Fransisco to see a game. it took about 6 1/2 hours to drive up there. on the way the GPS stopped working, but we arrived safely. the stadium was really neat. we saw a few home runs, and Cincinnati beat sf 5-2. the drive back home was relatively uneventful, and took about 6 hours.

Blog Challenge 'B'

B Beavers Today I am writing about beavers because they are a good example of diligence and perseverance. To see a beaver building a dam, symbolizes ambition and that hard work is necessary to achieve your own goals. Beavers are fat furry animals that are generally found in North America and Canada. They are known for their "danger signal": when startled , a swimming beaver will rapidly dive while forcefully slapping the water with its broad tail. This creates a loud "slap," audible over great distances above and below water. This noise serves as a warning to beavers in the area. Once a beaver has made this danger signal, nearby beavers dive and may not reemerge for some time. Beavers are slow on land, but good swimmers that can stay under water for as long as 15 minutes. Frightened beavers rarley attack a human. Beaver meat is generally served in restaurants in the Northern US.

Quote of the day

Why is it that when you tell a person that there are 400 billion stars in the sky and he'll believe you, tell him a bench is wet and he has to touch it?

this is fun

Put an X by the states you have been to. The average is 8; how do you match up? Should you chose to play, here's what you do: Copy my note. Just for fun, put an O beside the states where you have lived. Airports don't count!
